Entergy Texas is an electric utility with a service territory across southeastern Texas. The company’s energy efficiency program focused on delivering ENERGY STAR® incentives and supported the construction of more than 700 ENERGY STAR certified homes, resulting in a 43% increase over the previous year. Key 2022 accomplishments include: 

•  Adding electric vehicle charger incentives to its residential new construction program and providing additional targeted incentives for ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostats and heat pump water heaters.
•  Augmenting the ENERGY STAR incentive bonus for certified homes, holding numerous meetings with builder partners to further support their program participation, and providing training on building science best practices and updates on new codes and standards. 
•  Participating in EPA’s Earth Day, ENERGY STAR Day, and ENERGY STAR Home Upgrade campaigns, as well as product promotions for pool pumps and water heaters and seasonal outreach and developing a new online marketplace for ENERGY STAR smart thermostats.
•  Delivering 67% of total energy savings and 49% of peak demand savings program-wide through incentives for ENERGY STAR certified homes and products.
