Partner of the Year - Sustained Excellence - Energy Efficiency Program Delivery
Energize Delaware is an initiative of Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility, a sustainable energy nonprofit. Energize Delaware completed 3,123 home energy assessments and 1,884 projects by leveraging the ENERGY STAR® brand through marketing and outreach. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Achieving electricity savings of almost 3.6 million kWh.
- Offering rebates for Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) customers of $2,100 for whole-home air sealing, up to $1,400 for top-tier heat pumps, and $1,100 for heat pump water heaters.
- Hosting 20 Facebook live shows about energy efficiency, highlighting HPwES and ENERGY STAR products, and gaining more than 12,000 views.
- Receiving close to 100,000 visitors to Energize Delaware’s HPwES website.
- Distributing 5,000 LED bulbs at no cost and 3,200 weatherization kits to low-to-moderate income families and workshop attendees.
