Partner of the Year - Energy Efficiency Program Delivery
DTE Energy is an electric and natural gas utility serving southeast Michigan. Over the past year, the company increased the adoption of energy-efficient products and homes in its service territory by promoting ENERGY STAR® among program partners and stakeholders. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Delivering more than 160,000 megawatt hours of electricity savings and 120,000 million cubic feet of natural gas savings across its ENERGY STAR programs.
- Supporting the construction of more than 240 ENERGY STAR certified homes and expanding builder participation by 6% since 2021 and by 77% since 2020.
- Increasing both the number of distributors participating in, and the number of ENERGY STAR certified product models, available in its commercial food service program.
- Providing incentives for ENERGY STAR certified ovens, steam cookers, griddles, fryers, hot food holding cabinets, refrigerators and freezers, ice makers, and dishwashers.
