Delmarva Power & Light (DPL) is an electricity and natural gas energy company. DPL increased total energy savings to more than 780,000 MWh, an amount used by 65,000 homes in a single year. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Completing 308 energy assessments and 173 projects through the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.
- Partnering with other utilities to offer 0% financing for efficiency improvements.
- Utilizing multiple programs and marketing channels including social media ads, display banners, postcards, emails, and point-of-purchase materials to promote ENERGY STAR certified appliances, heat pump water heaters, and smart thermostats.
- Supporting the construction of 230 ENERGY STAR certified homes and launching a new marketing campaign focused on helping both homebuyers and home builders understand the benefits of ENERGY STAR certified new homes, yielding more than 3 million total impressions.
- Leveraging ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® in completing 91 “Building Tune-Up” projects and promoting Portfolio Manager and ENERGY STAR certified product lists in building operations and management training.
