Building Efficiency Resources, a home energy rating company, certified more than 3,000 homes as ENERGY STAR® in 2022, for a total of more than 28,000 since 2010. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Training over 300 home energy raters and rating field inspectors on ENERGY STAR program requirements.
- Creating new marketing materials and redesigning webpages in support of its ENERGY STAR Multifamily Review Organization services.
- Delivering ENERGY STAR training classes statewide on behalf of the New York State Home Builders Association for builders, code enforcement officials, real estate professionals, and home inspectors.
- Sharing information about upcoming ENERGY STAR program changes with its home energy rater network through articles, social media, and training opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association to create video resources promoting energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR programs.
