Atrium Health is a healthcare organization. Atrium Health continued to improve its operational efficiency by using ENERGY STAR® as the foundation of its energy management program, reducing energy across its portfolio. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Doubling the number of ENERGY STAR certifications to 27 facilities since 2021, including six hospitals.
- Adding 13 newly acquired hospitals to its ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® account and achieving a 6% energy savings in each for the first year, on average.
- Saving 1.7% energy across their portfolio, while adding 15M square feet of new healthcare space.
- Presenting on the ENERGY STAR specification for medical imaging equipment at a conference and sharing best operational practices with healthcare engineers.
