The ENERGY STAR® Emerging Technology Award is given to innovative technologies that meet rigorous performance criteria to reduce energy use and lower greenhouse gas emissions, without sacrificing features or functionality.  The Award provides forward-thinking, environmentally conscious consumers and end users with a tool to identify and purchase cutting-edge technologies that offer energy savings and help to reduce their carbon footprint. Award Winning Technologies for 2017:

Solid-State Refrigeration

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is pleased to announce that Solid-State Refrigeration has been chosen as the 2017 ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Award category.  The Award recognizes the best available solid-state refrigeration products that help reduce the use of refrigerants and generate additional energy savings.

Innovative Refrigerant Systems (2016-2017 Award)

The Award beginning in 2016 and continuing through 2017 recognizes the best available low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant systems that help protect the environment while offering the consumer additional energy savings.

Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation
