Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) honor organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through energy efficiency.
Next year's winners will be recognized at the ENERGY STAR Awards Ceremony on April 26, 2017 in Washington D.C. All organizations participating in the ENERGY STAR program are encouraged to apply for a 2017 ENERGY STAR Award. To be considered for an award, organizations must meet eligibility requirements and submit a complete online application package by 8 p.m. EST, December 7, 2016.
EARLY INTENT: This year we are again asking applicants to notify us of your intent to apply for an award. Please use your "My ENERGY STAR Account" (MESA) to complete this action by October 17, 2016. This will help us improve the timeliness of our entire process.
The 2017 ENERGY STAR Award notice of intent to apply must be submitted through your MESA (www.energystar.gov/mesa) account. If you do not have an ENERGY STAR account, please contact us to have one created for you.
