Partner of the Year - Energy Efficiency Program Delivery
Atlantic City Electric Logo

Atlantic City Electric is a utility in New Jersey. In the past year, Atlantic City Electric encouraged its customers to purchase a wide range of ENERGY STAR® products, properly recycle old appliances, and pursue major energy efficiency upgrades through its Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

  •  Offering incentives on ENERGY STAR certified products including heat pump water heaters, washers, dryers, refrigerators, and small appliances at over 200 retail locations, while influencing the sale of more than 3,300 appliances to save customers more than 425 MWh.
  •  Showcasing the ENERGY STAR name and mark in digital media campaigns to drive customers to learn about incentives for heating and cooling products that meet or exceed ENERGY STAR performance levels.
  •  Encouraging customers to recycle old appliances such as freezers, refrigerators, room air conditioners, and dehumidifiers, and ensuring they are properly recycled, permanently removing more than 1,600 inefficient appliances from the grid.
  •  Linking increased energy savings to higher rebates, resulting in 47% of HPwES projects upgrading HVAC, and 36% of projects installing a high-efficiency water heater.
In 2020 ENERGY STAR and its partners helped Americans avoid more than $40 Billion in energy costs
