Air King America is a manufacturer of ventilation and indoor air-quality products. Air King demonstrated sustained, exemplary co-branding with ENERGY STAR® and a strong company culture of promoting and celebrating the benefits of the ENERGY STAR program and certified fans internally with staff and externally to customers. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Increasing the percentage of ENERGY STAR certified products sold (in dollars), reaching 50% of total annual sales for the first time.
  • Focusing marketing and sales efforts on moving homeowners and builders away from entry-level, non-certified models to ENERGY STAR certified units, which resulted in a 20% increase in sales of two series of ENERGY STAR models and a 40% decrease in sales of one non-certified series.
  • Actively participating in all relevant ENERGY STAR campaigns via social media, including ENERGY STAR Day and Light the Moment, and leveraging ENERGY STAR marketing and climate change content on its website, resulting in more than 10,000 social media impressions and a 10% increase in visitors to ENERGY STAR-focused webpages.
In 2020 ENERGY STAR and its partners helped Americans avoid more than $40 Billion in energy costs
