Professional Engineer Volunteers Offering Free ENERGY STAR Label Verifications for K-12 Schools
Our nation's schools are unique public buildings that are used by many in the local community and offer an opportunity to showcase and communicate effective management and environmental protection. For this reason, the Professional Engineers listed below have volunteered to provide a limited number of "free of charge" verifications for the ENERGY STAR building label application. This limited time initiative runs from October 1, 2009 – September 30, 2010 and is for K-12 schools only.
Please directly contact a Professional Engineer in your area to inquire whether they can provide your K-12 school with a free building verification for your school's ENERGY STAR building label.
Note: It is at the discretion of each Professional Engineer to determine whether they will provide a free verification service for any particular school. Professional Engineers do not receive any reimbursement from the U.S. EPA or the Federal Government for offering this voluntary service.
