4.2: Determine Roles and Resources

Identifying Internal Roles and Responsibility

After assessing energy performance, identifying gaps, and setting goals, John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc.s action planners are created for project management in support of attaining the goal of closing the gaps identified.  Each site develops their list of action plans and reviews them with the corporate audit team members.  Each action planner includes detailed steps to complete the project, assigns responsibility for each step, creates deadlines and also estimates the cost and savings from the project.  These action plans are then reviewed monthly throughout the year.
