Energy Management at All Levels

CEMEX's U.S. Energy Management Program based on ENERGY STAR guidelines is implemented across all divisions of the company.  Energy teams are the heart of an energy management program. CEMEX has extensive, well-structured energy teams that reach all levels of the organization.

Level One, the Executive Team, is comprised of the Executive VP of Operations, who reports directly to the President of CEMEX U.S. and is designated as the lead of the program. A Director level official champions the energy program to executives. An exclusive Corporate Energy Manager looks after the day-to-day activities of the program.

Level Two, the Corporate Energy Team, is comprised of many departments such as Procurement, Operations Support, Planning, Environmental, Process, and Projects. This team meets periodically to deal with the issues pertaining to all the company's manufacturing facilities.

Level Three comprises the Site Energy Teams at the company's facilities. A Site Energy Leader directs the team made up of members from various departments.
