Comparing Energy Performance with International Sites
Merck uses the Merck Sigma methodology for project analysis in which energy audits and consultations are performed throughout the year at several facilities, including international sites. Additionally, each year Merck has an Energy Manager Forum in the companys four regions (North America, Latin America, Europe-Middle East-Africa, and Asia-Pacific). The site energy managers within each region attend the forum to discuss projects they have completed and are working on, sharing information and best practices.
