Since 2007, East Greenbush School District has realized more than $1,500,000 in energy savings. The school district has prevented the emissions of more than 1,150 metric tons of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by more than 29,900 tree seedlings planted and grown for 10 years.
