In 2007, Frankenmuth School District, which educates more than 1,200 students across three schools, retained Energy Education, Inc. and began implementing the company's people-driven Transformational Energy Management Process. The successful partnership has led to increased energy efficiency and has instilled a sustainable energy ethic throughout the district.
Frankenmuth School District has been recognized by EPA as an ENERGY STAR Leader for improving its energy efficiency by 10 percent. Since August 2007, Frankenmuth School District has realized more than $130,000 in energy savings. Staff, faculty and students at Frankenmuth School District have implemented hundreds of improvements in energy consumption habits.
