Owned and managed by Hines, Olympus Corporate Centre is a four-building complex of two- and three-story office buildings offering approximately 191,000 square feet of rentable space. Built in 1995, 3013 Douglas Boulevard is a two-story, hexagonal building clad in blue reflective glass. It totals nearly 43,000 square feet of rentable space. The campus-type setting offers ample tenant and visitor parking and broad outdoor public spaces including benches and tables with chairs. The campus also includes a conference center, which can be arranged in boardroom, classroom, and other configurations, and an on-site fitness center. Olympus Corporate Centre is situated to provide quick access to downtown Sacramento and the Sacramento International Airport, and is just minutes from Interstate 80.

 

3013 Douglas Boulevard at Olympus Corporate Centre earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance as a result of new management practices and a series of infrastructure retrofits. On the management side, a digital building management system is used to monitor and control lighting in the parking lot, and to define settings for building heating and cooling. On the infrastructure side, building HVAC efficiency was improved through complete re-commissioning, and cool-roof technology and roof insulation are employed to reduce thermal heat gain. Finally, additional efforts under consideration--including solar-powered parking area lighting, reflective window treatments, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) on air handling units--should result in further reductions in energy consumption.
