building

Building 1 is an 11-story structure built in the early 1950s. A clinical addition was made during the 1980s, with a separate chiller plant. Through a continuous, planned M&R process, the HVAC system has been upgraded over the past 7 years. ECC controls and control valves were put in place first to establish a solid foundation for improving the delivery of conditioned air and providing efficiently chilled water. Also, M&R and project related space changes all incorporated high-tech energy-efficient lighting and exit signs.
