This 12 story, more than 248,500 square foot office building, 840 First Street NE, is located in the burgeoning North of Massachusetts Avenue (?NOMA?) neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The office is fully occupied by Group Hospitalization and Medical Services, Inc., an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. The property, which includes three levels of below-grade parking, was developed as a part of the five-acre site known as Union Center Plaza. The development contains five office buildings totaling approximately 1.45 million square feet located directly adjacent to Union Station, a hub for Amtrak, DC Metro, and various commuter rail options. Constructed in 2003, the building is owned and managed by First Potomac Realty Trust.
