Developed and managed by The JBG Companies, 1801 North Lynn Street is a distinctive Class A commercial asset, located in Arlington, Virginia's vibrant neighborhood of Rosslyn. The property is located one block from the Rosslyn Metro, with easy access to downtown Washington, DC, major roadways, and Reagan National Airport. Development of the 24-story, 350,000-square-foot building began in 2000 and was substantially completed in 2002. The most striking features of the building design are four large panels of artwork commissioned by Ned Kahn, which replicate flowing water. Since its completion, the building has been fully leased by one tenant, and the two first floor retail spaces have been leased by Cosi and PNC Bank.

By increasing the building's energy efficiency, 1801 North Lynn Street has earned the ENERGY STAR in both 2007 and 2008. The JBG Companies established on-going programs for operational monitoring, active maintenance, and optimizing the Building Management System (BMS). Completed energy efficiency projects include piping on the condenser water loop to eliminate running certain mechanical systems, an enhanced water treatment program, and automated control and efficient use of scheduling equipment not controlled by the (BMS).

The JBG Companies efforts were recognized by the Arlington County Board when JBG received the 2007 Fresh AIRE (Arlington Initiative to Reduce Emissions) Business Champion award. The ENERGY STAR plaque is proudly displayed at the building's entrance.
