Bayside High School, home of the Marlins, meets the challenges of serving a diverse community to achieve its mission of “empowering all students to become lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens in a global society.” Rich in tradition, Bayside serves a student population of approximately 1,800 students with a staff of approximately 190 across more than 200,000 square feet of floor space. The school also includes a Health Sciences Academy, which offers a program focused in the health sciences. The school was part of a performance contracting effort with Noresco to retrofit lighting throughout the building. Water conservation measures, as well as minor HVAC renovations, were included in the upgrade project.
