Diamond Springs Elementary School is part of the tri-campus complex in the Bayside area of Virginia Beach. Home of the "Eaglets," the building houses more than 500 kindergarteners and first-graders. Diamond Springs Elementary was constructed in 2007 and is a typical construction of the newer prototypes that are similar to other buildings in the district that have earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance, such as Arrowhead Elementary and Brookwood Elementary. The designation of this building as an ENERGY STAR certified facility is an excellent demonstration of the partnership of how Virginia Beach City Public Schools builds, maintains, and operates in their facilities.
