Gladys Burnham Elementary School, part of the Athens Area School District, is a 23,000-square-foot facility that educates nearly 150 students a year. The Athens Area School District has committed to improving its energy efficiency with the help of Energy Education, Inc. and the ENERGY STAR program.  Energy Education provides guidance and staff support to help develop and implement energy efficiency policies and practices, all while using no-cost tools and resources from ENERGY STAR to achieve a greater level of performance.
