Communications:
Each year, The Prudential Center hosts an Earth & Transportation Fair in April. This fair is coordinated in cooperation with A Better City Transportation Management Association (ABC TMA) and building vendors to educate the building occupants on "working green," energy-saving initiatives, recycling programs, and various citywide transportation options. In addition to this annual event, Boston Properties also communicates the benefits and results of energy and sustainability initiatives with the occupants of 101 Huntington Avenue through its quarterly newsletter, a bi-annual green newsletter, daily messaging in elevators, and via posters throughout the common areas of the center. The Center also provides common area recycling receptacles. Whenever possible and feasible, Boston Properties will partner with green organizations such as Secure the Call to provide tenants with easy sustainability-supporting options and programs. In 2011, 101 Huntington Avenue will participate in several energy-saving events, including the City of Boston Lights Out program and Earth Hour.
