Loudoun County Public Schools

K-12 school district in Northern Virginia with a 16 year commitment to reducing energy consumption. Our program was developed with Energy Education, Inc. and has allowed our school system to save over $36 million. Our motto is that every dollar that goes to pay an unneccesarily high utility bill could be used for a much better purpose - teaching children. We also highly value the environmental impact reductions that our program has provided. Loudoun County Public Schools has reduced over 2 billion pounds of CO2 emmissions. Having a school system that includes healthy and environmentally friendly practices is just one part of creating a climate for success. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this national campaign.
