The Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition and its Committee for a Green Hoboken are dedicated to reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. QLC/CGH obtained approval of the U. S. Mayors' climate Protection Agreement in April 2008. It is working with the city to initiate a municipal CO2 audit. It will conduct roundtable discussions (one already held in November)and reach out to businesses and individuals via meetings, speaking engagements, presence at fesitvals and street fairs. Has involved and will continue to involve students from Stevens Institute of Technology in outreach efforts.
