The VA Connecticut Healthcare System, the second largest consolidated facility in VISN 1, encompasses 2 main campuses and 6 outpatient clinics. The consolidated facility consists of the West Haven Campus, located in the New Haven County Area and the Newington Campus, located on the Hartford County Area. In addition to the 2 main campuses, 6 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in Danbury, New London, Stamford, Waterbury, Windham and Winsted make up the VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS).
