A new home that has earned the ENERGY STAR label has undergone a process of inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict requirements set by the US EPA. ENERGY STAR certified homes use 15-30% less energy than typical new homes while delivering better comfort, quality, and durability.
Improve financial performance and reduce carbon emissions with EPA's strategic energy management approach.
The Colebrook Energy Committee is a volunteer-led town committee formed in April 2007 to address the energy and environment issues facing the northernmost region of NH. Our vision is "Making practical solutions that save money and the environment." We have begun exploring what our local government and residents are doing concerning energy efficiency and recycling, and have started writing articles to educate the public about energy-saving techniques. We are planning an Energy Expo in October 08 with "Green Path" so that more of the public will be exposed to Energy efficiency, recycling, and sustainability, in general.
Every year, we ask partners to renew their commitment: Join the 2014–2015 Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR Campaign now!
