Belmont Municipal Light Department

BMLD is one of 41 municipal electric departments in Massachusetts. Founded in 1898, BMLD has spent over 110 years serving Belmont with low cost and reliable service. Public power communities are owened by the people we serve, so our interests can be more beneficial to our community. We want to be a positive change in our world, so we are giving away one free CFL 20W or 25W bulb per customer. Come on my our office at 40 Prince Street and ask for one!
