Create Your ENERGY STAR Event or Campaign
Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR!
Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR is a national campaign from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) encouraging all Americans to join with millions of others in taking small steps that make a big difference in protecting the climate.
The campaign focuses on changes individuals can make at home and in their communities with ENERGY STAR certified products and energy-efficient practices that will save energy, save money, and help prevent climate change.
2. E. CELEBRATE ENERGY STAR DAY
This October, EPA and its partners celebrated the first ever ENERGY STAR Day! This was a great way to recognize the great things that we have accomplished together through the Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR campaign.
EPA planned several activities, including a culmination Twitter Party, and an exciting media event. EPA also invited partners to join us in celebrating ENERGY STAR throughout the month of October.
Partners hosted educational events about the benefits of energy efficiency, competed in EPA's special ENERGY STAR Day Pledge Driving Challenge, and undertook many other activities that spread the word about energy efficiency.
EPA plans to celebrate ENERGY STAR Day in October 2013! Stay tuned for updates. Parters are welcome to send an email to: gordon.brittney@epa.gov with any ideas or questions about 2013 ENERGY STAR Day plans. We would love to promote them!
