1. C. USING THE MOST EFFICIENT DESIGNATION IN PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

The ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designation recognizes the most efficient products among those that qualify for the ENERGY STAR. These exceptional products represent the leading edge in energy efficient products each year.

Geen Pepper cling

Partner Best Practice Co-Branding Example — Using ENERGY STAR’s Most Efficient Designation

This example of an in-store “cling” indicates that the corresponding refrigerator meets the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2012 criteria, and is eligible for a rebate ($75).

This is clearly stated in the explanation and the Most Efficient designation is incorporated at the bottom of the piece. There is ample space around the logo and it is clear on the green background.

This utility’s promotion included a smaller rebate ($35) for all other ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators, and the messaging between the two made an appropriate and positive link between the two offerings. (See section 2. Best Practice Co-Branding Examples, item 2a for this cling)
