2010 ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting

Date: October 4–7, 2010

Location: Denver, Colorado

Description: The agenda and presentations are now available for the 2010 ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting that took place October 4–7, 2010 in Denver, Colorado. The meeting brought together partners and stakeholders for ENERGY STAR appliances and water heaters, electronics, and lighting. The meeting also provided a forum to foster collaboration between different partners on national campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

Date: September 21–23, 2009

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Description: The agenda and presentations are now available for the 2009 ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting that took place September 21-23, 2009 in Chicago, IL. The 2009 Appliance Partner Meeting brought together all major stakeholders in the appliance industry to discuss technological innovations, national promotions, and other pertinent issues. The meeting also provided a forum to foster collaboration between different partners on national campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

2009 ENERGY STAR Electronics Partner Meeting

Date: September 24, 2009

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Description: EPA held a full day meeting for ENERGY STAR partners and stakeholders interested in ENERGY STAR qualified electronics. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together retailers, manufacturers, and utility sponsors to hear what's happening with the country's newest ENERGY STAR electronics programs, share take away tools and information to advance their plans, and learn how best to leverage national EPA and industry efforts to advance energy efficiency in electronics products. 2009 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting

Date: March 17–19, 2009

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Description: The agenda and presentations are now available for the 2009 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting that took place March 17-19, 2009, in San Antonio, TX. The 2009 Lighting Partner Meeting focused on current ENERGY STAR strategies, plans, and promotions for 2009 and expanded its scope to include LED lighting for the first time. The U.S. DOE and U.S. EPA provided program updates on current efforts and future directions.

Workshop on ENERGY STAR Electronics Program Design

Date: September 24, 2008, 12–6 p.m.

Location: Long Beach, CA

Description: EPA offered this half-day working session for ENERGY STAR partners to hear what’s happening with the country’s newest ENERGY STAR electronics programs, take away tools and information to advance their own plans, and learn how best to leverage national EPA and industry efforts to advance energy efficiency in electronics products. National Data Center Energy Efficiency Strategy Workshop

Date: July 8, 2008

Location: Redmond, WA

Description: In support of the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) National Data Center Energy Efficiency Information Program, the DOE and EPA are convening this workshop to provide an opportunity for all data center energy efficiency stakeholders to look at the big picture of how government and industry are advancing toward the goal of improved energy efficiency in data centers.

U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR Computer Server Specification Stakeholder Meeting

Date: July 9, 2008

Location: Redmond, WA

Description: The EPA will lead a discussion with manufacturers and other interested stakeholders on the latest developments for the ENERGY STAR computer server specification under development. 2008 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting

Date: February 25–27, 2008

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Description: The agenda and presentations are now available for the 2008 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting that took place February 25–27, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ. Hosted by Arizona Public Service (APS), the 2008 Lighting Partner Meeting focused on current ENERGY STAR strategies, plans, and promotions for 2008 as well as updates from U.S. DOE and U.S. EPA on current efforts and future directions for the program.

ENERGY STAR Workshop sponsored by CEE

Date: January 15, 2008

Location: Long Beach, CA

The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) hosted the meeting to help their member utilities take full advantage of ENERGY STAR’s inventory of support materials for local programs. The 1-day workshop included Residential and C&I tracks.

  • Discuss how Draft 2 specification limits were developed,
  • Share initial EPA conclusions from functional-adder analysis of currently-qualified Ink Jet products,
  • Share EPA's initial thoughts on Draft 2 comments received, and
  • Convey process for partnership and product qualification under Version 1.0.

ENERGY STAR International Stakeholders Meetings

Date: March 14, 2005 and wrap up on March 17, 2005

Location: Washington, DC

Description:
These meetings will convene international ENERGY STAR program implementers, from government agencies in Australia, Canada, the European Union, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, and the U.S., to discuss the status of ENERGY STAR in each country. The meeting on March 14 will run from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m. and international implementers are invited to make a brief, 15 to 20 minute presentation to showcase their activities. The wrap up meeting on March 17 will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will run until approximately 4:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at 1310 L Street, NW, Washington, DC. ENERGY STAR Computers Specification Revision — Stakeholder Meeting

ENERGY STAR Imaging Equipment Specification Revision - Stakeholder Meeting

Description:
This will be a roundtable discussion of the revision of the ENERGY STAR specifications for Imaging Equipment. We will explore the recent updates to the Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) test procedure, Operational Mode test procedure, and test conditions. We will also discuss the grouping of products under different testing approaches and specification categories, and time frames for testing products and issuing draft and final specifications.
