ENERGY STAR periodically hosts meetings for partners and industry to gather to discuss new program initiatives, product specifications or other outreach activities. In addition, these meetings offer ENERGY STAR partners the opportunity to network with others to develop relationships and collaborations to promote ENERGY STAR.

2012 ENERGY STAR Products Partners Meeting: October 22-24, 2012 in St. Paul, Mnnessota

EPA is pleased to announce that the 2012 ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting for Lighting, Appliances, Water Heaters & Electronics will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 22-24, 2012.

This year’s meeting will be held over three days, and as in past years will be a combined meeting covering ENERGY STAR lighting, appliances, water heaters, electronics, and other topics. The meeting will also provide opportunities to interact with a range of program stakeholders in various formats, including independent one-on-one meetings.

The meeting is open to all ENERGY STAR partners and stakeholders. The attendees will include:

  • Energy efficiency program sponsors implementing or interested in developing ENERGY STAR programs
  • Retail partners promoting ENERGY STAR lighting, appliance, water heater, or electronics products
  • Manufacturer partners producing ENERGY STAR lighting, appliance, water heater, or electronics products
  • Other organizations active in the energy efficiency community

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza-St. Paul Riverfront from October 22-24, 2012.

  • Sleeping room rates: $121/night* for single/double, plus all applicable state and local taxes.
    *The hotel is offering this government per diem rate for all guests
  • Cut-off date: The hotel cut-off date for reserving rooms is September 24, 2012. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis so please make your arrangements as soon as possible.
  • The meeting rate will be available 3 days prior and 3 days after the event, subject to availability at the time of reservation.
  • Note: EPA selects venues for the ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meetings that uphold agency requirements for environmentally responsible meetings. The Crowne Plaza St. Paul is working with EPA to ensure all requirements are being met, and more information will be available as planning continues.
