These Firms Rise to the Challenge

Together, the 75 projects submitted for the ENERGY STAR Challenge are expected to:

  • prevent nearly 100 thousand tons of CO2 emissions annually.
  • reduce fossil fuel energy and associated CO2 emissions by 50 percent on average.
  • save more than $6 million in energy costs annually (estimates based on comparison to an average building).
