Eligible Organizations for the Service & Product Provider Partnership

The ENERGY STAR Service and Product Provider (SPP) partnership is available to organizations that provide energy efficiency services and/or products to commercial buildings and industrial manufacturing plants in the United States. ENERGY STAR SPP partners are integral in helping clients to improve the energy performance of their commercial building portfolios and to adopt continuous improvement strategies for corporate-wide energy management in industrial manufacturing. SPPs use the ENERGY STAR Guidelines for Energy Management to move customers towards greater successes.

The following types of organizations are eligible for SPP partnership: architecture, distributor, energy consultant/energy management services, energy improvement contractor, energy information service, energy services company (ESCO), engineering, equipment manufacturer, financial services, on-site energy production services, unregulated energy retailer and marketer, or other supplier of standardized generally accepted proven strategies for improving the energy efficiency of commercial and industrial buildings.

As an ENERGY STAR partner, your organization will be associated with a powerful brand and can leverage ENERGY STAR to help your clients understand the value of improved energy performance.
