Green Seal

Green Seal is dedicated to protecting the environment by promoting the purchase and use of environmentally responsible consumer products. It sets environmental standards and awards a "Green Seal of Approval" to products that cause less harm to the environment than other similar products.

International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM)

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future for our nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. USGBC works toward this mission through its LEED® green building certification program, a voluntary, consensus-based national rating system for buildings designed, constructed and operated for improved environmental and human health performance. LEED emphasizes state-of-the-art strategies in five areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection, and indoor environmental quality.

Voluntary Initiatives

ENERGY STAR Labeled Products

This site provides information on ENERGY STAR labeled products to help purchasers find products which meet EPA’s energy efficiency criteria. Products covered include household appliances, home electronics, office equipment, heating and cooling equipment, windows, and residential light fixtures.

EPA Partnership Programs

This site offers a comprehensive list of EPA’s voluntary partnerships. Programs address a wide variety of environmental issues, including technology, waste management, and water.

WasteWise

WasteWise is a free, voluntary, EPA program through which organizations eliminate costly municipal solid waste, benefiting their bottom line and the environment.
