Can't make it to an event? Take an online room-by-room tour of ENERGY STAR @ home and learn how you can help fight climate change, while saving energy and money in your own home.
The ENERGY STAR Exhibit House is a custom-built, interactive exhibit structure modeled after EPA’s ENERGY STAR @ home online consumer education tool. Partners and sponsors across the country work with the Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR campaign to host this unique exhibit that serves as a reminder that one way we can each reduce our impact on the climate is by looking for energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly options in our own homes. See the photo tour of the Campaign Exhibit House for more information about the exhibit and highlights from the 2009 tour.
At the exhibit, visitors walk through specific rooms to learn how ENERGY STAR qualified products and practices can help save energy, save money, and fight climate change. Visitors also have the opportunity to promise to improve their energy efficiency at home, at work, and in their communities by taking the ENERGY STAR Pledge. Come take a room-by-room tour of the home and learn what you can do to make a difference from the comfort of your own home, such as:
All of these changes can also add up to big savings for the environment. So take the ENERGY STAR Pledge to join us in the fight against climate change. If every American household took part in the Pledge, we would save more than 110 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, more than $18 billion in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of more than 18 million cars.
