JCPenney's "Energy Isle" and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ENERGY STAR Exhibit House visited the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival. Each visitor received a treasure map guiding him or her through the educational energy isle, where he or she competed in a chance to win real treasure! The annual three-day festival at Oak Point Park took place in Plano, Texas (near Dallas), where visitors enjoyed a weekend packed with food, music, hot air balloons, and educational family fun. As part of the Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR Campaign Tour, JCPenney and the JCPenney Afterschool Fund supported the McKinney branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County to organize an ENERGY STAR educational event in the community.
