Puget Sound Energy hosted the Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR Exhibit House as part of the Rock The Bulb Tour - Unplugged 2009. At the Lowe's of Auburn, WA (Store #1089 located at 1232 A Street NE), visitors had a chance to tour EPA's Exhibit House room-by-room to learn how to make energy-efficient changes in their homes, at work, and in their communities. Puget Sound Energy residential electric customers were allowed to bring up to 10 incandescent light bulbs and exchange them for a variety of free ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. The event was a culmination of a longer term, area-wide campaign centered on community outreach through service projects with a highly motivated team of volunteers. During this event, PSE highlighted the Boys & Girls Club of King County.
