Implementation Schedule Notes
- Homes in Puerto Rico are eligible to earn the ENERGY STAR under the National Program Requirements at any time during the implementation of the Regional Version 3 Guidelines for Puerto Rico. However, all homes certified under the National Program Requirements must follow the national implementation timeline.
- The Rater may define the ‘permit date’ as either the date that the permit was issued or the date of the contract on the home. In cases were permit or contract dates are not available, Providers have discretion to estimate permit dates based on other construction schedule factors. These assumptions should be both defensible and documented.
- Homes may not be qualified as Version 3 until the implementation date of Version 3.
