Submit a profile of your building
Once your building is certified as ENERGY STAR, it’ll be added to the registry of ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants. When you apply for the ENERGY STAR, you’ll also have to opportunity to submit a profile for your certified building. This profile will appear with your building listing.

If you don’t create and submit a building profile by the time your certification application is approved, a brief list of basic information will display as your facility's profile.

Submit a full profile for additional recognition
Adding a profile of your building on the ENERGY STAR website is a simple but effective way to get greater online visibility for your achievements. These profiles are often used by the media and others to highlight our nation's leaders in energy efficiency. Your ENERGY STAR certified building profile will likely also rank high in search engine results for your building name, so take advantage of the opportunity to promote your building and its energy-saving features.
What to include
Your profile is a great place to tell your energy-saving story. What challenges did you face? How did you overcome them? How much energy and money have you saved? How have your tenants or occupants benefited? And of course, don’t forget to tell about some of the energy-efficient technologies you used. Round it out with an eye-catching picture, and you’re all set.

How to submit
You’ll submit your building’s profile through ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. Just log in to your account, click on the eligible building’s name, and follow the step-by-step instructions.
