ENERGY STAR Certification Nation
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of ENERGY STAR, EPA offered special one-time recognition to all organizations who certified 5 or more buildings in 2022. The deadline to participate has passed, but nearly 250 organizations joined the growing nation of certified buildings and plants – the ENERGY STAR Certification Nation. Four levels of recognition
Participating organizations received special recognition as a Member, Premier Member, Executive Member, or Elite Member, depending on how many buildings and plants they certified in 2022.
Member
Certified 5 or more buildings or plants in 2022. All members received:
- A listing on our website
- A digital badge (shown at left)
Premier Member
Certified 15 or more buildings or plants in 2022. Premier Members received:
- A listing on our website
- A digital badge (shown at left)
- A personalized letter from the director of EPA’s Climate Partnership Programs
Executive Member
Certified 50 or more buildings or plants in 2022. Executive Members received:
- A listing on our website
- A digital badge (shown at left)
- A personalized letter from a senior EPA official
Elite Member
Certified 150 or more buildings or plants in 2022. Elite Members received:
- A listing on our website
- A digital badge (shown at left)
- A personalized letter from a senior EPA official
- Inclusion in an EPA press release
